MD recently had the chance to test the Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory. Our test unit was a 2023 model , which is identical to the 2024 model (except for colors and graphics).

The MotoGP series visited the COTA track in Austin, Texas this weekend, and Aprilia’s Maverick Viñales was the star. Viñales took pole position, won both the Sprint race and the main GP, and, in the process, became the first rider in the modern era to win Premier Class races for three different manufacturers, including Suzuki, Yamaha and Aprilia.

MV Agusta has announced a production adventure model called the Enduro Veloce, which follows up on the LXP Orioli limited edition. Powered by a 931cc three-cylinder engine producing a claimed 124 horsepower, the new bike should be quite quick and splits the difference between middle-weight and open-class adventure models.

Liberty Media Corporation, owners of the Formula One racing championship, have announced an agreement to acquire the MotoGP championship, and related assets, from current owner Dorna. The agreement, which is subject to certain contingencies described in the press release below, will result in Liberty Media owning approximately 86% of Dorna.
