Bagnaia led from the start, and quickly built a big gap over second place.
Championship points leader Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) slowly chipped away at Bagnaia’s lead and was on his rear fender for much of the last lap. Bagnaia held on to win with Quartararo second and Enea Bastianini (Ducati) taking his first MotoGP podium in third place.
