The demise of the supersport category is apparently exaggerated … at least, according to Kawasaki. Introducing a significantly updated Ninja ZX-6R for the 2024 model year, Kawasaki may be sensing a comeback for sport bikes.
An all-new 2024 Kawasaki model was announced earlier today. The Eliminator is powered by a 451cc parallel-twin engine, which is based on the same motor found in the smaller displacement Ninja 400.
After hearing about the European launch of the cool little CL500 Honda scrambler, we immediately wondered whether the bike would be available in the U.S. market. We now know that it will be with the slightly different name SCL500.
There aren’t a lot of pure luxury touring motorcycles. At the top of the list, perhaps, is Honda‘s iconic Gold Wing, but BMW has its own unabashed luxury tourers in the form of the K 1600 family.
There are many technical challenges to the use of hydrogen as a power source for vehicles, including both automobiles and motorcycles. The Japanese are not giving up on this challenge, however.
