Dunlop Q5S front tire immediately after our Buttonwillow track day. These are some brief thoughts and impressions on two sporty Dunlop tires, including the Q5S (a 120/70/17 fitted to the front of our Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory test bike) and the Dunlop Q4 (a 180/55/17 on the rear of that bike).

After being quickest at the last practice in Sepang, two-time defending champion Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) again recorded the fastest lap time at the Qatar test that has just been completed. Factory Ducati teammate Enea Bastianini was 2nd quickest.

I’m sure every motorcycle enthusiast has spent more than a little time thinking about the “perfect motorcycle”. A bike that is not only a “jack of all trades”, but comes close to mastering them.

Four Ducatis in total were under the 1:57 mark, with Martín (Pramac Racing Team) second and Alex Márquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP) fourth. Francesco Bagnaia was the fastest at the end of the first pre-season test of the 2024 MotoGP season.
