Bad weather at Phillip Island this weekend led to a couple of decisions by the race directors. First, the full MotoGP race was moved to Saturday, and the Sprint to Sunday.

Continuing a trend that began with adventure models with street rubber and, eventually, 17″ wheels, Ducati has now introduced a full-blown “superbike” with adventure-style upright ergonomics. The Multistrada V4 RS gets all the goods from the superbike parts bin, including the Panigale V4 Desmosedici Stradale engine.

Great drama played out today in Indonesia as Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) salvaged what looked like a disastrous weekend by winning the race from 13th position on the grid. This was not the only drama.

Courtesy Pramac Racing The Sprint race held earlier today saw Jorge Martin (Ducati) not only win the race (after starting sixth on the grid), but take the lead in the championship from Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) who finished eighth.
